This project can be either large or small versions:
- Small version using 2x2 (or equivalent)
- Large version using 4x4 (or equivalent)
- You will use the drill press to drill the holes in the larger version (cordless drill an option for the smaller version).
- Another option is to use plug cutters to fill the holes with wood of a different type (large version only).
Your first step is to get the wood you will be starting with and create a cube! See Mr. Hogg for possibilities.
Next is to lay out the lines/marks for where the holes are going. Remember that on a die, the opposite faces numbers always add up to 7 (1+6, 2+5, 3+4).
